I have had what I think is tinnitus since spring Yesterday I saw my GP, and told him the hissing sound was within my head, and not from the ears. He said is may not be tinnitus, because it is not from the ears. If it's not at the ears, could it be something else? Tadeusz SApr 23, Location: U. Hi, Tadeusz SThat is a good question, but I think it's more likely that you have some form of tinnitus than anything else. I have a constant hissing noise, too, but mine is all in my right ear.

It is a constant noise, just like you describe, that never really changes. There are many people on this forum who have said they feel that their tinnitus is in their entire head, not just the ears. Have you had your hearing checked lately?

If so, do you know if you have any degree of hearing loss? If it's hissing, My Favourite Things - Various - Best Of Blue Note think it's more likely your hearing loss would be in the high range.

Gradual hearing loss is a common cause of tinnitus. Since you've only been to a GP regarding this sound, it might be a good idea to see an ENT or audiologist, to see if they can at least diagnose the problem. There, you could have an audiogram to see if you do have hearing loss.

Good luck, and please let us know what you find out. Best wishes, Karen. KarenApr 23, Who knows? My tinnitus goes from ears one day to head the next day. Agree x 1. Like x 1 Agree x 1 Friendly x 1. Thanks Click,I have been told I have tmj. Always worth having a MRI and hearing test.

Tinnitus can be in one ear or both ears and in your head also so try not to worry as it does sound like tinnitus. The unwanted emotions it can cause like anxiety can be hard too. A car's gas tank will build pressure under normal operating conditions. High pressure in a car's gas tank may cause dangerous conditions. High gas tank pressures in a car may cause gas tank bulging, fuel line leaks, fuel pump problems, lack of fuel to the engine for combustion, dangerous conditions when opening the gas tank filler cap and potentially create fire hazards.

Mar 03,  · The competing external noise was just too much. My head is full of noise. Maybe this doesn't make sense to some of you. Maybe it's one of those things a person has to experience to fully understand. So some of you may think I'm nuts, and some of you may understand. I understand this, noise is uncomfortable, disconcerting, distracting, frustrating, and irritating.

Sep 15,  · It started when there was extreme pressure in my head. It felt like whatever is inside my head was too large for its cavity and it was expanding. I also couldn't walk straight but didn't really feel dizzy as we know dizzy to feel. Also, when it happens, I hear this noise that sounds like a large drill drilling into the Earth for oil or something.

I am in my early 60s, and I have high blood pressure (genetic) and low potassium (I am on a supplement now). I hear my heart pounding and hear a hissing sound in my head when I am under stress or stimulus, but when I am relaxed I still hear the hissing noise.

Oct 02,  · I spent a good chuck of the past season on a pair of M5. Approx. 50 days. The E skis a little too loose for my taste. The M5 has a much lighter feel than previous gens of Mantra. Much better in loose snow & crud. Great in bumps too. Big sweet spot. My BMX & Volkl One don't get to come out and play as often anymore.

Feb 27,  · I too had experienced pressure in my head in the past. I went to see a massage therapist and the pressure was gone almost immediately. I am postulating that muscle tension in my upper back, neck, jaw and face were the root cause of the feeling of pressure in my head. You may also try aspirin to see if it helps.
